The kidneys are a pair of organs located behind the abdominal cavity and has a main function to filter blood and dispose of waste produced by the metabolism of the body in the form of urine. In addition it also has the function of the kidneys regulate blood pressure, regulate fluid and electrolyte balance, and stimulates production of red blood cells in the body.
The production of urine produced by the kidney depends on the activity and the state of one’s body. In people suffering from lack of fluids in the body (dehydration) caused by a lack of fluid intake, strenuous activity without adequate fluid intake, or during an illness then the kidney will react by holding as many as possible of fluid and electrolytes in the body so that the amount of urine produced will be slightly thick and colored.
Several diseases and symptoms may appear sooner or later if we get used to the lifestyle of the less noticed fluid intake in the body, one of which is kidney stones and urinary tract.
Kidney stones and urinary tract are a combination of crystals in a particular state will hold the attraction between the crystal and the other one so it will form a core of rock that is beginning the process of stone formation. This process will run continuously, the rock core will attract other crystalline materials that will form a rock with a larger size and will cause symptoms that are felt by the body when the size of the stone had been able to block the urinary tract.
